SUMMER EXPERIENCES 2026

Retreating away together is one of the best tools we have to help students experience and be transformed by the love of God. In 5 days, students get more time together with leaders and their small group than an entire calendar year of Sundays. Once spots are filled it will move to a waiting list only. Registration for Summer Camp and Work Crew closes April 12th.

Still unsure if it can work? Here is a note from one of our leaders to the families of her middle school girls upon returning from camp last year.”

“Having been to 5 consecutive summer camps with OCC, I can confidently say these 3 things:

• Encountering God: It's beautiful to hear the girls describe how they experienced God at camp. The program intentionally incorporates different styles of communication so that each student has an opportunity to hear in a way that resonates with them. Also, the worship sessions are consistently a top highlight for our students.

• Fun: Honestly, I have a tendency to discount the importance of fun. But I was reminded at this camp that fun is an essential part of their childhood. Camp is so much fun and play and silliness and giggles and that is wonderful and memory-making for them.

• Time: Camp is four and a half days, which is about 80 awake hours. In comparison, during the rest of the year MSM is 1.5 hours on Sundays. Multiply that by the number of Sundays your student is able to come to church and you'll get a number that's less than half of 80. I prioritize camp because it is a precious gift of time for your girls to build relationship with us leaders and with each other. Building these connections with other believers matters.

... there's something unique about the joy of middle school camp that I don't want them to miss out on. We want to know what we can do to support your family so that going to summer camp in 2026 can be possible for your girl."

Middle School Students (incoming 6th-9th)

MSM is headed back to Washington Family Ranch (Canyon) in Antelope, OR with CIY MIX. You will notice that current 8th graders going into high school will be able to join us for another year of middle school camp.

We are pleased to let our families know that we have received some additional funding for 2026 ONLY. We have decided to use that to make camp as affordable as possible to all families. Camp has pushed close to $700 the past few years, and due to rising inflation costs, would have pushed past that this year. Our scholarship fund has been depleted. If you would like to contribute to replenishing those funds, there will be an opportunity to do so on the registration form.

Cost $289.00

HSM SERVICE LEARNING WITH BORDER PERSPECTIVE

High School Students can apply to join us in serving and learning with Border Perspective in south Texas.

Border Perspective serves families, equips leaders, advocates for biblical justice, and mobilizes the church on service-learning trips along the South Texas border. BP’s service-learning trips are immersive, educational, and will intentionally place you into the lives of immigrant leaders serving families in South Texas.

There will be learning opportunities to help you understand the complexity of immigration on the border and service opportunities that help support local immigrant ministries. These opportunities will be eye-opening and will give you a first-hand look at ministry alongside immigrant communities.

The cost is estimated $1500. This covers transportation, lodging, meals, and program fees.
