HIV/AIDS Relief

OCC is joining the fight to care for those affected and infected by HIV & AIDS.

In our OCC 2012 Vision Campaign, we hope to launch or expand 50 community hubs (impacting 10,000 or more) throughout India and Africa that provide education and job training and prevention and care for HIV/AIDS affected and infected communities.

A GLOBAL PANDEMIC:

  • More than 33 million people are living with HIV
  • Nearly 6000 people die everyday because of AIDS
  • 7,500 King County residents are living with HIV or AIDS
  • 2.5 million children have AIDS…most of these are in Africa
  • There are more than 15 million children who have lost one or both parents to AIDS

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

  • PRAY!  We believe that the power of Jesus is ultimately the only means of stopping this disease.
  • Join the HIV/AIDS Team that meets throughout the year to help guide OCC in addressing the crisis locally & internationally.

  • Consider going on an OCC short term trip to an HIV/AIDS affected area like South Africa, Kenya or India. Contact Aaron Tally for more information: .
