Divorce Recovery

Divorce is a painful time, leaving you isolated from family and friends who do not understand your pain and fears of the future. Overlake's Divorce Recovery is a safe and understanding place, where you will be heard and understood. Your heart and emotions will be handled with care during this fragile time. Each of the facilitators has been where you are now.

Divorce Recovery meets Mondays at 7 pm (except some holidays); and we make every effort to come together even when Monday is a holiday, as those can be difficult days.

We meet in OCC's Orchestra Room, which is just inside the east (back) entrance of the church (so drive and park at the back)! After entering the building, go through the double, wooden doors to the right, just inside the church. We look forward to meeting you. Also, there is no kids ministry provided on Monday evenings...so if you need that, consider checking out OCC's Tuesday evening DivorceCare group.

REGISTER NOW and drop-in anytime to our Divorce Recovery group -
Mondays at 7 pm in Room A-113 (Orchestra Room) on the east side of Overlake.

What's the Difference Between Divorce Recovery and DivorceCare?

Overlake's DivorceCare is a 13 week, support-centered class which includes a brief, topical teaching followed by approximately 90 minutes of interactive discussion. As noted above, Divorce Recovery is an ongoing support group that meets Mondays at 7 pm in a room just inside OCC's back (east) doors. Some folks are part of both groups - there is often social interaction/activites between the groups outside of the evening meetings.
