Build Relational Bridges of Care With Friends and Neighbors

We believe 100% of OCC can BRING-VITE a friend into a relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to challenge and help you in building a relationship that shows people you care about them. Here is the challenge:

1. PRAY and ask God who you need to be more intentional with in your relationships with friends, neighbors or co-workers that don't know him.
2. REACH OUT through spending time with those one or two people in your life. Do activities that you share in common or invite them over to your home for a meal (even take-out!).
3. ASK questions and then LISTEN. Ask people about their life, experiences, family, hopes and dreams. Let people talk about themselves and care about what they have to say.
4. LOOK for spiritually receptive people. You will notice it when people make comments about spiritual interests or are facing a crisis. Ask your friend how you can pray for them.
5. BRING-VITE them to an appropriate opportunity. It may be including them in a Life Group Christmas Party, special event at OCC, or a sermon series that speaks to where they are at.

Connect To God's Bigger Picture

Consider taking a course on God's movements in the world called Perspectives in the World Christian Movement. This 16 week course will challenge you Biblically, historically and culturally to join where God is already at work in the world.
