MOVIE SCREENING: Lost Kites – The Story of 3 Orphans
Sponsored by our Orphan Care Ministry, this dynamic 45 minute film follows the stories of several orphans around the world exploring models and best practices promoted by Overlake. Young adults Casey and Megan (former members at Overlake) set out on a faith filled adventure and are challenging audiences around the country to engage in the Biblical call to care for orphans.
Get involved during the month of April and show your solidarity for refugees across Europe. You can write letters to individuals and families who need to know they are not forgotten. Come by the Serve the World counter on Sunday for more information, or click the link above for detailed information on writing your letters.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28: 18-20
It's known as the Great Commission, and its implications are world-changing. At the heart of Overlake's SERVE the WORLD ministry purpose are the words of Jesus. As we SERVE people in our neighborhoods, across the country or around the globe, we puts his commands into practice, offering him all that we are and all that we have.
