Have you ever wondered how to use your passions, talents, unique God-given skills and life experiences for Kingdom impact? Perhaps you're still wondering what those are and you need help identifying the ways in which God has personally shaped you.
Well, you've landed in the right place.
The term SHAPE represents five distinct areas of a person's life that are directly related to how God has created them to serve. You can discover your SHAPE by taking a little time to dig into the unique person God created you to be.
Here are three quick steps to help you get started:
STEP #1 PREPARE
Pray - Thank God for creating you and for His plan for you. Ask Him to show you His plan and how you fit into that picture.
Study - The Bible has a lot to say about the way we should live our lives.
Focus - Be intentional in your pursuit of what God has planned for you. This SHAPE tool will benefit you greatly if you put in some time and energy into the process.
STEP #2 PROCESS
Walk through the SHAPE Profile and discover your SHAPE.
If you would like to take an online Spiritual Gifts test, this is one some of us have tried and really like. Spiritual Gifts Test
STEP #3 PROCEED
Once you've completed your SHAPE Profile, we highly encourage you to meet with one of our trained SHAPE coaches to talk through your results. They'll not only walk you through your individual profile, but they'll also help you identify where and how to plug in to serving at OCC and around the world.
If you have any questions, please contact Daniele Ott, SHAPE Coordinator and Serve the World Admin. Daniele can also connect you to a SHAPE coach.
“For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

My passion is helping people to discover their purpose and SHAPE in God’s Kingdom, and to find joy in their lives and ministries.
OCC has been the home for my family since 2008, and I am an active member of the Caring Ministries and Serve the World Teams, serving as a SHAPE coach, biblical counselor, Rooted 101 facilitator, and an active advocate for those impacted by the sex trade trafficking in Thailand. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling and Life Coaching through Liberty University.
My professional background includes over 30 years business experience in executive/leadership positions in finance, accounting, operations, information technology, consulting, and consumer products. I live in Redmond with my wife of 25 years Corinne, and we have partnered together in leading small groups/bible studies for over 20 years (singles, marriage, family, men’s). We have two grown sons, Ryan and Sean.

I was born and raised in the Kirkland area and have been married to my beautiful wife Tyra since 2001. We joined Overlake in the summer of 2007 and I was blessed to fulfill God's calling and joined the OCC staff in 2014. I have a heart to serve in Global Mission's and love to see God's transforming power in individuals through mission trips. There is nothing like helping others understand their own SHAPE and help guide them to serve God in a more passionate and purposeful manner.

I grew up in the Kirkland area, and have been married to my husband, Aaron for 14 years. We have been members of OCC for 8 years. I am a Staffing Recruiter by trade so I enjoy matching people's skills, abilities and passions to ways that they can serve at OCC and in the community.

I am a certified holistic/empowerment and stress management coach. I was born and raised in Washington and returned to OCC after 20 years living in other parts of the country while raising my now adult son. I work at a local hospital and currently serve on their governance and diversity councils. I have also served as a member of the State of Oregon's Diversity Council, bringing positive cultural changes to the workplace. While being educated through my own life journey I decided to create a coaching business in hopes of inspiring men/women around the world to encourage one another through their life transitions. I have been honored to have studied with some to the best leaders in the coaching industry in the U.S., Canada and Australia and am excited about returning to Overlake and being of service for God's purpose through Him.

My name is Kim Peterson and I’m an overcomer. After years of compounding adversity, I beat the odds both personally and professionally, and thankfully have experienced a dramatic inside-out transformation. But by the grace of God, this ongoing journey began on a foundation of truth, right perspective, and the possibilities of what could be and with tenacity I moved from abandoned, violated, unlovable and unworthy, to belonging, restored, beloved and worthy. Because I perceived how Christ championed me, I remained a student so that I would be better equipped to champion others on their inside-out journey. As a professional speaker and consultant, today my purpose extends beyond solely working with people to define their authentic personal brands and style. It includes teaching them how to live their lives to the fullest while helping them maximize their personal and professional potential regardless of their station in life. I’m both lucky and blessed to have married my college sweetheart, Kelly, 2.5 years ago (another story with God’s thumbprint all over it!).
YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made –uniquely savvy- and it just so happens that that’s the name of my personal brand & style consultancy, named after Psalm 139:14-16! I’ve been attending OCC since 2001 and am honored to be of service on the SHAPE team!
