Serve the World

Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

It's called the Great Commission of Jesus…and its implications are (and obviously have been) world-changing.
At the heart of Overlake's third ministry purpose to SERVE the WORLD are these Bible verses from Matthew 28.

As we SERVE other people -- in our neighborhoods, across the country or around the globe -- we as the Overlake family do so in Jesus' name.

November India Trip

Find out how you can get involved in building a 1,000-foot long, 4-foot tall retaining wall at the training center in Lakhimpur, India. We’ll work alongside 50 local laborers to stop erosion around the training center whose purpose is to educate the people of India about HIV/AIDs. For more information, contact Scott Taisey, .

Kenya Orphan Care Team

October India Trip

Learn more about being Jesus to school children from impoverished neighborhoods during this 11-day trip to Delhi. We’ll Serve the World by teaching English and supporting the efforts of teachers in a neighborhood school. Couple more people are still wanted.
