PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING

OCC is committed to helping you build a solid foundation for a lifelong, growing relationship. Prepare to Last pre-marriage classes are offered throughout the year. Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks at OCC or in the home of the pre-marriage counselors. Each class has four to six couples.

Your class will be led by an experienced married couple who are trained in premarital counseling. During the class, you and your partner will discuss subjects like expectations, communication, conflict resolution, your personalities, financial management and intimacy. Pre-marriage counseling is a requirement to be married at Overlake or by an OCC pastor.

The cost is $100 per couple for members and regular attenders of OCC. Couples who do not attend OCC are welcome and the cost is $125. These fees cover Prepare to Last workbooks, DVD’s, the Prepare/Enrich Assessment to help you assess your strengths and growth areas, and an excellent book, Marriage on the Rock, by Jimmy Evans.

The February 2012 Class is Full!
REGISTER for the next Premarriage Class starting Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm

"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two but one.
Therefore, what God has joined together, let no man separate." Mark 10:7-9 (NIV)
