9: 30 //Chapel - Tuesday only // free choice: manipulatives, cut and color, art project, playdough, imaginative play // book corner // HWT time with Mrs. B

10:30  // Recess - Gross motor development and exercise

11:00 // Snack time: includes find your place mat with name, prayer, wash hands, eat snack, birthdays are celebrated at this time, clean up own snack area, quiet book corner time

11:30 // Carpet time // HWT: lines, curves, letters & numbers // interactive learning // story time // singing & movement // instruments // rhythm sticks // show & tell on scheduled Wednesdays beginning in January

12:00 // Good Bye song (children remain seated on the carpet until their name is called to leave)

9:45-10:25 // Independent choice of Learning centers

10:25-10:45 // Clean up/Snack

10:50-11:20 // Gym/Outside Recess

11:25-11:45 // Wash up/Class Project/Show-n-Tell // Review Virtue

11:45-12:00 // Discuss a little about tomorrow/reading/games/free play

12:00 // Children leave

 

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

9:30 // Free Choice and Table activities (art, sensory play, blocks, dramatic play, activities that support their thematic learning and skill development)

11:00 // Recess (Gym or Playground)

11:30 // Circle Time (VIP, Show-n-Tell, more teacher-directed, small group instruction, table activities)
