If you have a specific prayer request you can email prayer@occ.org.

We are excited to see God's hand at work as He continues to unfold His plans and purposes throughout the prayer movement of OCC. Come and join us and be a part of what God is doing among us.

We want the DNA of the prayer ministry to be built on these things:

  1. Prayer is our first action, for we recognize that we are totally dependent on God.
  2. Prayer is the foundation that determines our course.
  3. Prayer is the mindset that governs our every decision and action.
  4. Prayer comes from the heart and is not just a mental assent.
  5. Prayer is humbly seeking God with all our heart and enables Him to be found by us.
  6. Prayer saturates and penetrates everything and every area of life.
  7. Prayer becomes as natural to us as breathing.
  8. Prayer creates an atmosphere of peace and invites the presence of God.
  9. Prayer helps us deal with pride and keep our hearts right before the Lord.
  10. Prayer takes many forms so we will not expect each person to pray in the same way.

Results:

  1. Fervent prayers are the natural result of an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior.
  2. Praying together in agreement, based on the Word of God, releases the power of God.
  3. The DNA of prayer is infused into the body when prayer is modeled on all levels.
  4. Prayer will give us a covering of peace, protection, and provision and will bring the move of the
    Holy Spirit.
  5. With the move of the Holy Spirit prayer becomes contagious and lives will be transformed in
the church, in our community, and the nations.
  6. Seeking the Lord for direction will enable us to remain flexible, so that the prayer movement
    will remain God directed.
  7. Modeling prayer and seeing results encourages other to pray.
  8. Seeking God first and His direction as we begin to pray, will help keep prayer a movement and
    not a ministry of man.
