Redmond Elementary School Lunch Buddy Program

The Lunch Buddy program is a noontime adult mentoring program for children who need positive recognition and the benefits of individual attention. We are in need of more community volunteers for the many children on our waiting list.

Serve a Hot Meal at City Team Ministries

City Team Ministries is a local Seattle ministry organization that several Life Groups have partnered with. We love the ministry at City Teams. Check out one of their latest stories:

John was walking along the street, unkempt looking forlorn and lost. He was carrying all his earthly possessions in two grocery bags.

When we brought him in off the street, he was very hungry. He then showed us his very large running shoes. His shoes were musical shoes. The soles were worn and torn and when he walked in his size thirteen shoe they made a clapping noise. To keep his bare feet from the rough pavement because of the big holes in the shoes he taped torn pieces of milk cartons to cover the holes.

We thought that it was going to be impossible to find shoes that size. When we went to our clothes cupboard there was only one pair of running shoes left and guess what? They were size thirteen, just his size. A pair of new warm socks and of course, some thick meat sandwiches and you would have thought it was Christmas right there in August! John is now a part of our discipleship program because of giving. John says often, “[City Team], saved my life. I am on the right track and know what I need to do to get healthy and grow in the Lord.”

Serve on Our Local Evangelism Outreach Team

Join InsideOUT as they do ministry through-out the Puget Sound area. This is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your own faith as you participate in prayer walking, children’s activity tent, literature distribution, or personal evangelism. The ministry of InsideOUT is seeing nearly 1000 people come to Christ yearly. Join one of the outreaches:
