Dear Friends of Angel Tree:
 
As many of you know Angel Tree is a time for us to share a bit of God’s love with about 400 kids of inmates. Some of these kids will not get anything for Christmas unless we provide for them. We are given a unique time to let these families know that we care for them – not just at Christmas – but through the whole year. There is no easier way to make a difference in the lives of some of these kids. It can also be very rewarding to see changes in these kids when we take them to camp in the summer. It can also be very difficult as we realize the true plight of some of these families.

Would you please consider participating and earnestly pray for the following?

• Good health for all of our volunteers
• Calling is in progress right now. Pray that the caregivers and families are receptive, and for patience and wisdom for our callers.
• Completion of all of our insurance requirements. It will be good to know God’s answer this week!
• Many more churches /  businesses / schools to commit NOW – we have more kids who need to be supported through this ministry than we have commitments for
• Data Entry (Nov 11) All computers are working, need more volunteers,
• Gift Request Assembly volunteers (Nov 8, 5 – 7 pm). Need more volunteers.
• Gift Signup at churches (Sundays Nov 12-Dec 10) Need more volunteers to man the tables.
• NOVEMBER 19 AT 0CC – CHOOSE A GIFT TO BUY. Need God's people to be stirred to participate in the blessing and purchase gifts. Sort night (Dec. 15, 6 pm at OCC). Need 120 volunteers!
• Delivery (Nov 16, 8:30 am at OCC). Need 120 people who want to share God’s blessing with kids and caregivers - and receive a blessing that money can’t buy!
