What is MOPS? MOPS exists to meet the needs of all mothers of preschoolers from all walks of life who share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a Our theme for 2007-2008, the HOME factor: BEGIN HERE
GO THERE, will enrich our perspective and hone our abilities to create a cocoon of home. As moms, we long to create homes where our families can thrive and grow and we can too.
2008-2009 Theme: Adventures in Mothering
Motherhood might feel like a sensory overload sometimes. As a MOPS group we will learn more about ourselves as we go through the adventure of motherhood. We will also celebrate and embrace the fun in those experiences, even in the midst of daily mom life that stretches us emotionally and spiritually. Come and share the adventure together with us. Register for the upcoming 2008-2009 MOPS year now!
MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups like this one that provide a caring atmosphere for todays mother of young children. MOPS International also encourages and supports moms through resources such as books, their Web site (mops.org), and the daily MOMSense Radio program. Our MOPS group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday mornings of each month from 9:15 to 11:30 am during the school year. more MOPS is not a Bible study, but a ministry to reach out to moms during this specific season of life. If you would like a Bible Study, many are available through OCC Life3 Groups.
