This class is designed for those who have basic counseling training and want to learn more about the most common helping situations. Fundamentals In Biblical Counseling is a prerequisite for this class.

  Discover biblical precedence for lasting forgiveness and the role of repentance.
• Unrealistic Expectations
  This issue destroys many relationships. Learn how to counsel someone through these situations.
• Anatomy of Conflict
  Learn what causes conflict, how to diffuse it and how to learn from it.
• Anatomy of an Affair
  Learn how to counsel someone through the pain of an affair with the goal of reconciliation.
• Depression and Suicide
  Fundamental issues of depression will be discussed and how to know when to refer a depressed person for more help. Learn how to respond to a suicide situation.
• Domestic Violence in the Home
  Learn the dynamics of abuse, victimization and general guidelines to counsel victims or perpetrators.
• Childhood Sexual Abuse
  The impacts of these violations typically appear later in life or marriage. This study looks at the dynamics of abuse to better understand the ramifications in adult life and ways of reaching out to a victim off sexual abuse.
