Power Park

"Power Park" is Overlake's Kindergarten through 4th grade Sunday program.

In Power Park, kids connect with their friends and a Leader during small group time in their classroom. They then gather together for a large group time called "Power Up." It is during this time that the kids experience a high energy light and sound show led by a worship team comprised of both adults and kids.  A high-impact message is taught using drama by a dynamic Host. The kids then go back to their small groups excited to learn more about the lesson through games, crafts and discussions.

The Power Park curriculum is "252Basics". It is based on Luke 2:52, "...and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man." Each month a new virtue is presented. The kids learn how this virtue can be applied to their daily lives throughout the week.

Come check out the exciting things that are happening in Power Park!  , Power Park Director, would love to answer any questions you may have about this department!

MOPS

Kids Mops logo - Mops logoMOPS is led by mothers of preschoolers and is designed to help moms build relationships and find strength and encouragement during the early mothering years.

Our MOPS group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday morning each month from 9:15 to 11:30 am during the school year.

Each MOPS meeting begins with breakfast and time for socializing. We have insightful speakers on topics relevant to moms in this season of life, followed by a time for small group discussion. Moms can gain a sense of accomplishment and pride by completing a fun craft or participating in a creative activity.

MOPPETS provides loving care for children newborn through kindergarten. While moms attend the MOPS meetings, the children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs. The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.
