E-Cycle Event at OCC

Saturday, August 14 from 9 AM – 1 PM

Bring your outdated, non-working (or barely working) computer equipment, microwaves, TVs and other electronics to Overlake’s front parking lot on 8/14/10 from 9 am - 1 pm.

Use the price list below to estimate your total for the items you’re bringing to recycle. Please have check (payable to OCC/Imagine) or cash when you come to the event. Sorry, credit cards can not be processed for this outdoor activity.

Why Recycle?
PCs, monitors, and other electronics contain hazardous wastes such as barium, beryllium, phosphorus, lead and many other hazardous chemicals. It is important to keep these hazardous chemicals out of our landfills where they can leach into the groundwater. When you recycle, these products are reused and that is good for the environment! Plus, it is illegal to put them in the trash or take them to a landfill (computer monitors, televisions, computers, and cell phones).

Proceeds go to bring the hope of Christ to local women through scholarships to the Women of Faith conference in Seattle this October. For more information on this project, contact .
