No, this is a ministry of Overlake Christian Church. Scripture tells us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt 6:21). If you would like, you can make a specified donation to OCC Biblical Counseling.
We focus on short term counseling of 8 to 10 sessions. This may be extended by the Pastor of Counseling if needed.
Counselors are available during daytime and evenings hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
All counseling sessions will be at Overlake Christian Church, unless authorized for otherwise by the Pastor of Counseling.
Yes. State law requires all counselors to report certain situations to authorities. Full disclosure of this will be in the beginning of your first session. The counselor may consult with the Pastor of Counseling occasionally.
Please complete this application and then email or snail-mail it to Overlake Christian Church or drop it off the next time you're at OCC (Reception Office during weekday office hours or at the Connection Center on Sunday).
Our goal is to connect you with an available counselor in a few days. The more times you are available the easier it will be to match you up with a counselor. (See application)
