GOTTMAN MARRIAGE WEEKEND // January 24-25, 2020
FRIDAY 7pm to 9pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
SATURDAY 9am to 4pm (doors open at 8:30am)
Join us for an inspiring, relationship enhancing weekend led by Dr.Kim Lampson, Certified Gottman Therapist. Dr. Lampson will teach couples who attend how to implement the techniques developed from Dr. John Gottman's research regarding why marriages succeed and fail.
During this weekend, couples will learn how to disarm conflicting verbal communication while increasing intimacy, respect, and affection. In addition, strategies regarding how to cope with perpetual issues with empathy and deeper levels of understanding will be practiced. The weekend will include experiential learning of strategies intended to improve relationships.
Dr. Lampson is a full professor at Northwest University where she teaches students and professionals how to use the Gottman Method. She is also the Clinical Director of NUhope Community Counseling Center where NU doctoral student therapists provide affordable counseling to members of the community. In addition, she has maintained a part-time private practice on Mercer Island for over 20 years where she offers Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Cost: $190 (and includes program materials, Friday night dessert, Saturday continental breakfast, lunch and snacks). Olivia Thompson with any questions.
